DNS Server Details?

DNS stands for Domain Name System (Service or Server), an Internet/network service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Because domain names are character based, they are easier for humans to remember than the number or hexidecimal based IP systems. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses - whenever you enter a web site address a DNS service translates the name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name www.mysite.com might translate to the IP address 69.43.3.166
